Usage Guides

Get the most from your grinders

Choosing Your Salt

Choose dry, coarse sea salt or Himalayan pink salt sized for your grinder. Avoid damp salts such as fleur de sel, which can clump in the mechanism.

Peppercorn Varieties

Explore Tellicherry or Malabar black peppercorns. Fill separately to preserve each variety’s aroma, and adjust the grind from fine to coarse to suit your dish.

Refilling Without Mess

Unscrew the top cap and remove the lid. Use a small funnel over the sink, leaving a little space at the top so the lid fits back on cleanly.

Grind Adjustment

Tighten the top knob for a finer grind, loosen for coarser. Adjust a little at a time and test as you go — avoid overtightening the mechanism.
